Noel qualified from Bolton Street College of technology back in 1985. Over the years he has built up an extensive experience of technology that sits behind architectural design. He has worked in large offices in London , the Terry Farrell Partnership to smaller provincial ones, Danks Badnell Architects Ltd, in Windsor. He is a chartered member of CIAT and has been a full member since the 1980s. While at Danks Badnell he was on the team that won an LABC award for technical excellence.
He is an avid photographer, winning a gold medal in an international salon in Serbia in 2016. He also holds the title of AFIAP of the international federation of photographic artists.
When not working he is a keen artist and urban sketcher. He is a member of the Windsor Artists Collective. He has produced pen and ink and watercolour drawings for architectural practices.
Catherine studied Architectural Technology at Bolton Street College of Technology and qualified with distinction in 1987. Following that she had a varied career, working with high end architectural practices in London and the home counties as well as with the architects department in Cable and Wireless, specializing in Earth Stations.
She took a break from the world of architecture in the 90s to have two children, opting to work as a childminder in order to be home with her own children while they were young. She returned to practice in 2005, and contracted with many local architects' practices until starting CH Architech Ltd in 2011. During lockdowns the practice became much busier and soon required another technologist. Noel joined in March 2022 and together they are looking forward to a busy future. Catherine is living her dream: working from home, and spending more time with husband Noel, children and mad dog Minky.
